Apostolic and Contemplative Community in celebration for the Transmission of Chapter
A serene atmosphere ,participation, opening and sharing had accompanied the visit of Sr. Ester and Sr. Doris. Sr. Daniela talks about it.
On the 7th March our community had the pleasure of being the first to welcome Sr. Ester a d Sr. Doris for the Transmission of the Provincial Chapter. We were all together, Active and Contemplative Sisters.
The two days had been full of the presentation of the declaration of the Provincial Chapter introduced by a presentation about the activities that took place In these past six years in the Province Italy – Malta.
The transmission was carried out through a power point interlaced with songs and music, to which the sisters followed with great interest the different moments in a serene climate, participation, opening and sharing. We were quite a good group: 12 Active nuns and 7 Conteplative sisters of whom 3 were from Portugal, who had been caught up in Viterbo because of the Covid-19.
In seeing the presentation of these six years we relived beautiful moments and also sad ones : especially homes that had been
closed had revived the remembrance of things that we had to let go…. But the ‘New buds’ opened our hearts to the hope of seeing the vitality of our mission in our province.
We all have remained satisfied with this experience of sharing, especially with the active participation and the interest shown for the future of our Congregation and our Province.with gratitude we thank the Sisters who had prepared this meeting and we wish that in the future we could live such experiences because they help us to feel more part of this family.
