September 28th: the sisters and partners in the Mission of Italy-Malta, Spain, Portugal and Angola-Mozambique open the work of ICA 6

ICA 6, presented in the English, Portuguese, Spanish and Italian languages, united approximately 100 Sisters and Partners in Mission from Mozambique, Italy, Malta, Spain, Angola and Portugal.  Although the languages were different, participant responses were similar as this experience raised a deeper awareness of the unity and diversity in the Congregation.   Partners in Mission, along with Sisters in the Generalate community in Rome, participated together for the first time in an ICA.  Another first event was including our new novices among the Italian and Portuguese speaking groups.   This ICA highlights our Congregational belief in the importance of listening to all voices, voices from the newest to the most elderly!
