We are all invited

As Pope Francis tells us in the Encyclical Laudato, “the ecological crisis is a call to a profound inner conversion… an ecological conversion” (LS 217).
On the eve of the new liturgical year a two hour retreat is planned to immerse us in the spirit of the Laudate yes and help us on this path of ecological conversion that will accompany us along this #Advent of Hope, breathing in the sensations that we feel in the Laudate Retreats yes we are taking place in Assisi in Franciscan places. Growing together intimately connected in gratitude with people all over the world through prayer, song, silence and time with creation. Group dialogue and sensory experience will enrich this experience, which will not only be virtual.
The Retreat will be led by Tomás Insua and Antonio Caschetto, and accompanied by the splendid voice of Luca Terrana.
We invite all participants to prepare four glasses before the meeting, and fill them with the four elements of creation:
– a glass with a little water;
– one glass with a candle;
– a glass with some earth;
– an empty glass, full of air
These four glasses will be placed, during the retreat, near your location. In this way we will all be able to pray – not only virtually – with “the whole creation” at our side.
We suggest you to download the zoom application on your mobile phone, and if possible live this experience in an open place, a garden or a forest near your home, as long as there is a good connection. Alternatively, with the four glasses on the side you will still have the whole creation close to you!
