Come and witness the strength and audacity of Saint Mary Euphrasia, the Foundress of the Congregation of Our Lady of Charity of the Good Shepherd, through the amazing Euphrasia the Musical. This awesome musical highlights the courage and the passion for mission of Saint Mary Euphrasia who was a prophet ahead of her time, advocating social justice especially for those women and girls that were experiencing marginalization and exploitation. The vision and legacy of Saint Mary Euphrasia live on today empowering lives, restoring rights and upholding the dignity of girls, women and children in 72 countries worldwide.
Euphrasia the Musical will be available through on-line streaming as of April 24, 2021 – the Feast Day of Saint Mary Euphrasia – as a fundraiser event for the Good Shepherd mission worldwide. We invite each one of you – sisters, partners-in-mission, and friends – to join us, as we have conversations on the legacy of Saint Mary Euphrasia and meet both the production team and cast of Euphrasia the Musical on Tuesday, April 20th from 2:00 to 3:00 pm CEST.
Euphrasia the Musical was produced by the Good Shepherd Sisters of Singapore-Malaysia in 2019 and has been staged four times in Malaysia. Euphrasia the Musical was nominated for 12 Categories in Musical Theatre at the Boh Cameronian Arts Awards 2020 and was winner of Best Choreographer, Best Performance by an Ensemble, Best Sound Design and Best Lighting Design.
