World Day of Peace

World Day of Peace

Pope Francis' three ways to lasting peace:
intergenerational dialogue, education and work

Every year since 1968 – at the behest of the then Pope Paul VI – the Pope has delivered a message on the theme of peace to the heads of nations and all people of good will.

The path that Pope Francis has chosen for this LV Day indicates to the powerful of the Earth three main paths based on intergenerational dialogue, education and work, inviting them to “read the signs of the times with the eyes of faith, so that the direction of this change may awaken new and old questions with which it is right and necessary to confront”.(Source: www.vaticannews.va/it)
